Our approach to coaching is to tailor our work to your individual business needs to ensure that you can improve your career and/or business dramatically.  This means that each coaching program will be different based on client needs and the type of coaching that we are doing – business coaching, executive coaching, team coaching or career coaching.  

 

Generally our coaching programs include the following

 

Contracting:  Initial conversation to establish goals and agree expectations, methodology and determine if working together is a good fit.

 

Assessments & Feedback: To determine the focus of our work we typically do some form of assessment.  Assessments provide objective information which can enhance self-awareness and provide a benchmark for creating your coaching goals and evaluating progress.  We may use any of the following

Review assessment results and develop goals:  This is a collaborative process to define how we are going to work together.  For executive coaching we will create a specific development plan for each client that includes the overall purpose of the coaching, specific goals and the estimated duration of the coaching.

 

Coaching: Typically coaching is done over the phone in 45-60 minute sessions three to four times a month.  A coaching conversation is a very different type of discussion that serves to bring you a greater level of insight and commitment to action.  In the coaching relationship it is the client who sets the agenda, and the coach who manages the process and serves as an objective sounding board helping to keep the client focused, and on track to achieving goals.  In between scheduled coaching sessions, the client will complete specific actions that support the achievement of defined goals and integrate learning. The coach may provide additional resources in the form of relevant articles, checklists, assessments, or models to support thinking and actions.

 

Review and Evaluation: On a regular basis we review progress to determine next steps and evaluate progress.
